FAQ
Getting started with Food Log is easy. Click on the "Get Started Today" button at the bottom to launch the web app. Then start adding entries to your food log. The Phood Log web app keeps track of all entries locally on your phone or computer so you can always manage your entries whether you have an internet connection or not.
Chrome or Edge
Installing the Phood Log web app is easy! If you are using Chrome or Edge, you can click on the install icon on the top right. It looks like this:If you don't see the icon enabled, check your Chrome settings. You might have blocked the site. If it is enabled, click on it. Chrome or Edge will prompt you to install it. You may even be asked if you want it added to your Windows task bar. We'd of course recommend adding it there so you can have easy access to your Food Log!
Firefox
If you're using Firefox, then you may be out of luck. Your one option for installing the food log app is to first install a Firefox extension for Progressive Web Apps. Click here. Then follow the instructions given by the Firefix extension.
iPhone
If you're on an iPhone and you're using Safari, the install button from the top right may be disabled but you can still install it. Look for the share button provided by the Safari browser itself. It may look something like the upload icon below:
Click on that icon and then find and select the "Add to Home Screen" option. It will add the Phood Log app as an icon to your iPhone and you can then use it just like any other phone app.
